Julia joined the team in September 2022 with a strong passion for VC in the pan-European, B2B startup ecosystem. After graduating from Sciences Po, she began her career in investment banking and development banking with BNP Paribas and the EBRD, which she followed up with a move into FinTech as Associate Director of Capital Markets for London-based Funding Circle. She then came to Berlin and began work as Head of M&A and Corporate Development for Urban Sports Club.
It was after these rich experiences in finance, M&A and deal structuring that Julia found a deep passion for venture capital. She first worked as an Investment Manager in a family office, but soon became intrigued by Join’s strong network of tech ambassadors within medium-to-large corporates across Europe. She immediately saw eye-to-eye on the Join vision – to grow the Neue Industry – which now drives her continuous curiosity while working in this space.
