Federico is spearheading Join’s efforts in Italy. Thanks to his background as a Nordic VC, he brings professionalism and passion to Join’s investment team.

His first experience working with startups dates back to 2017, working for Far Ventures, a South African Venture Builder run by a former Rocket Internet Manager. He later joined Octo Telematics, Italian Insurtech company as a Product Manager, acqui-hiring startups as means of innovating the company’s product portfolio.

Prior to Join Capital, Federico has worked for Khwarizmi Ventures, a Saudi VC family office/fund and Karma Ventures, VC fund backed by Skype Founding Engineers’ family office, where he spent 3 years investing across Europe in Deep Tech SaaS companies, and lastly, Join Capital.

During his time in Estonia, Federico also founded WikiVC, an association of junior VCs aimed at educating the next generation of fund managers across Europe. He’s passionate about learning and sharing his insights with other founders and VCs.

He holds a Masters in Business and Management from London Business School and a Bachelor in Management from ESCP Business School.

Federico is now based in Milan. He’s a formula 1 fan, a former fencer, a fantasy and sci-fi aficionado.
